Chaos Marine Daemon Prince

So, 6th Edition hit and the FAQ's are out! I was psyched for my Flying Daemon Princes in Chaos Marines..... until I read the FAQ and they didn't make him a Flying Monstrous Creature when you give him wings. I was sad and angry. So I looked on the Bell of Lost Souls rule forum. Apparently in the White Dwarf, they use my Daemon Prince as flying, however White dwarf is known for rule mess-ups in their battle reports. But then someone said something interesting, the GERMAN FAQ specifies that they get Flying Monstrous Creature as a type with wings.

I went to the German GW site, got the FAQ and used a half dozen translator sites to make sure I wasn't missing a negative in there, and it does translate to giving them Flying Monstrous Creature. So I will be using the German FAQ until they fix the English ;p

Odd decision, considering the game is written in English the translated to German.
I'm gonna have to see if I can loose translate an FAQ to let my Tau keep their Target Locks.

Ok, I have heard this a few times, and thought I would try to inject some logic into GW's ruling.
Both Lords and Daemon Princes use the same Wings upgrade. If they reword it to say grants flying monstrous creature, that would mean that Lords would get the boost as well. I know they COULD have just said grants Lord Jump and MCs Flying, but they didn't. And if they said grants flying, winged lords would be everywhere, don't lie, you'd run one, Hell I would.
I hope this helps make a little sense, in all likelihood, this never entered anyone at GW's mind and it was a random ruling, but...

Actually, when I run the Wings upgrade through the translator, it does differentiate between Monstrous Creature and others. It gives Infantry models Jump rule, Monstrous Creatures the Flying Monstrous Creature rule.

So since you guys are running the 40k Tacticon Tourney and somehow this either doesn't get cleared up or I don't get my new codex in August, what is the ruling? Can I choose to use the translated German FAQ? Or the English? Or common sense that the same model in the Daemon's Codex has the rule, so why not mine?

We will be using the English FAQs. I don't speak German and my universal translator is in the shop.
And I do play CSM, so I do understand, but its the ruling from GW.
