Greetings fellow gamers

Hello all. My name is Mike, my brother Aaron(and regretfully roomate) and I have been playing 40K for the last six years or so. I am getting sick of fighting his armies (losing mostly). We have been trying to meet up with everyone on Saturdays but our work schedules have not been allowing it. I am an avid space marine player and my brother has Necrons,Tyranids and orks. We did not know there were other players in the area so we look forward to losing to whole new armies! Hope to meet you all in person soon.

Welcome aboard! As a note about the timing: you can always see if anyone here could get together on another day in addition to Saturdays. Unfortunately, I normally can't do any other time than Sat myself. But, other people might be able to.

Welcome to the forums! Where are you located? Westminster or Fort Collins?

Sorry bout that guys. I am in the Westminster area, in fact I am less then a mile from the store. We have been in to buy more models (does it ever end?) and Edward was very helpful and told us about the grow league. We already have 8 armies at 1500+ points so we could not see adding yet another. We are very interested in playing more people and we are trying to arrange Saturdays off to be able to join everyone in combat. Hopefully I have a better chance against another player who is not fielding monster Tyranids (I hate those things).
Even if I have to find another job I plan on playing in the league very soon.

Sweet dude good to hear from you and nice to see that you found the forums!! I hope your brother can make it to the forums as well.

By the way you do not have to start a new army for the grow league I hope I did not lead you to think that you could not play the army you already have. Just bring in the models you still need to paint and build and get points for the league that way!!

I do hope to see you one of these Saturdays and maybe sometime when we get a second day going.

Thanks for the invite. I saw that you had an offer for points for painted terrain pieces. Since my brudda and I did not know anyone else in the area playing we built our own gaming table. We have a fairly large painted foam city consisting of at least twelve buildings, around six barricades too. We would be happy to donate some if there is a shortage of terrain? (It would also give us motivation to make some new ones) The city buildings are just standard gray in color but are very durable and as close in specs to the Games Workshop ones as we could get. I will take a picture and see if you might be interested.

Anything you want to donate would be great but do not feel like you halve to. there is not a shortage it is just cool to have new and nice stuff to play on and we could use a few more tables worth of stuff.


And if you want to get points for the league then by all means bring in some terrain and get your points any time is fine I am at the stores most days and will record the points for you if you drop it off anytime that I am here.
