| Carry over from a discussion started here.I actually agree. I need to practice with the new powers a LOT. I think the will be big. Beyond getting Fortune, I think my Farseers will be grabbing Prescience and Psychic Shriek. I also think I may need to find a way to work without Fortune and maube even without trying for it. A mistake in our game was dropping Embolden/Horrify. Originally, I was thinking it was useless, seeing as the unit I would have it in would already be fearless, and -3 Ld to a fearless opponent is pretty weak. BUT -3 Ld to a heavy psyker force is pretty awesome. And after I picked up Prescience, the second power being Psychic Shriek would be pretty powerful. I need to look at my powers outside the box a lot more, and mostly thats going to take games, lots of games. | |

| the only problem i see is that the range on that power is crapy so be careful when placeing your dudes or you might loose the unit on the next turn. | |

| Its worse than that. The warlock powers are maledictions and only 18" range. Which means I have to start my turn within 18" after a turn of you being that close. Tricky tricky. | |

| Actually, I have been finding that the list has more teeth than I originally thought. The switch of the Razorwing has made it an awesome heavy infantry killer, plus it no longer has to split roles. My first two game with the Crimson Hunter weren't exactly amazing, but my last two versus Eldar Wave Serpent spam and then a Land Raider(usually a bane for me), it turned out to be more than worth its points. I am also less reliant on psychic powers than I thought. Which is good, since they are way less reliable. With my new ability to not get the powers I want or just to not get them off(Finally rolled Protect, and got it 3 times. The Seer Councils Warlock with it periled on turn one. YAY!), this was a plessant surprise. Still looking to get a LOT more practice, though. Everything is different, and I want to be on it come Tacticon. I only have 8 weeks left, so I am looking for opponents.
Come get some. | |
