Ghengis Kudos

Hey guys,

Nice job with Ghengis.
* It was smooth and fun to play in!
* The pairings went as smoothly as can be expected, no mean feat!
* The prize support was much appreciated. Thank to HobbyTown Ft. Collins for providing it. The convention should be pitching in for it as well.
* The plaques were brilliant. It's nice to get a momento to remember the event by. "Hardware", without spending a pile of cash.
* The additional necron themed terrain was nice looking and playable.

A couple suggestions for Tacticon that you may want to consider:

1) Publish a check-in and start time, and hold to them. If people show up late, they should take a penalty, get a bye, and/or just simply miss out.
2) Additional glue on the plaques, mine is already starting to lift. Maybe a gloss coat over the entire piece?
3) Using metallic/gold paper for the plaques would make them even cooler : http://www.itsupplies.com/Chrome/Chrome-Pure-Gold-Inkjet-Paper. I'd be willing to donate some money, as I think it'd be awesome. There might be other vendors for the stuff, I just picked the top link from Google.
4) I liked the perforated mission pack, but I hope it didn't cost a lot of money.

Anyway, these are all just little ideas/tweaks. I'd attend again if it were exactly the same, and we all really appreciate your club taking the time and effort to let us play with our toys!

1: We started at 9:00 this time due to problems with registration last time, but that seemed to be a mistake. Rounds after the first were on time and as scheduled.

2: Sorry to hear about your plaque, bring it by HT and I will repair it. I tried a varnish on the Malifaux plaques at tacticon, it was bad.

3: I will have to think on the paper. Cost and ability to attach to plaque being main concerns.

4: That's my little ghostly secret.

No worries about the plaque, I can be pretty handy with glue at times...

Sitting around doing nothing all weekend was a unique change!
