Storm Of Magic Turny Or Normal Turny?

So Storm of Magic is coming out and we have a tourney that on the way and i thought why not put them both together and Run A storm of Magic tournament!!!!! Storm hits this week so we will have a better look at the rules but from what i know right now it will be 2000Pt's + 500 Pt's of extra magic items and monsters and spell casters. I think this could be a great way to have some fun with the new system and win some prizes at the same time.

If we go with the storm of magic ill want to have a 5 dollar entry fee for club members and 10 for non registered members. this money will go right back into prize support so if we get $50 in entry fees that will make two $15 dollar gift cards and one $10 dollar gift card. On top of the GW prize support we will have allot of prizes to go around and I might even through in a mystery prize or two 0.o!!! If we don't want to do storm of magic Ill just run the standard 2000pt tourney and dull out the GW prize support.

Either way we go every player will need to have 5 Printed out copies of his list with all the points and items listed on it. One for me the judge one for yourself and one for each opponent you play.

It will be a 3 round tourney starting at 3pm on a wednesday with scenario play. each scenario will be announced before the start of the round.

There will also be a score card for each game that will need to be filled out. Look for sportsmanship scores, painting scores and Battle scores. The heavy scores will be in battle points. The top 3 over all will get the GW prizes. and if there is a entry fee I will give out prizes for best sports man, best painter and a few other TBD things depending on how much other prizes we get and how many people will be there.

normal tourney. Lets do the 2k tournament and then the next block of games we start playing storm of magic at 2500.

And lets start a league campaign.

Why not do $25, $15, $10, since that actually adds up to $50?

looks like i need to learn to math but yeah you would be right. If we do the standard turny do people want to through in 5 bucks to make more prizes or no?? Also something I would like to know from you all.

I would have no problem with throwing in 5 bucks. Storm of Magic, i am not so sure about since i dont know the rules. So i say lets do Normal, and then next time we can do Storm.
