i was told as of today that games work-shop is pulling all there metal models so if youwant some grab them while you can.

They are all as of last week or so while stocks last. Aparently they are switching to resin or a high grade plastic. but who knows when they will get around to replacing all there models with the new ones.

I would give my left nut for the truth rumor I heard, which is they are switching to a special high grade resin/plastic hybrid ...close to forgeworld's level of detail, almost as workable as the current plastics.

I AM EXCITE

would be great but the rep is talking about the metal models being pulled. so in the more then likly LONG interm between now and when they realese all the new ones its going to be hard to get the models people want.

Although i do think the switch will be for the better eventually the down time between now and then will suck = (

Don't jump the gun...

it is very possible they will keep metal models as Direct Only, still available through the website. I doubt they'll just chuck the molds out and get new ones. Metal molds are completely different from plastic injection molds. If they want to go to resin, they'll make new molds off the masters and hold on to the old ones.

talk to the rep dude there pulling them all. I just talked to him this morning and thats what I was told. I really hope your right but he did not sound when i badgard him for half a hour about it like it was going to happen that way. It could be that he dose not know anything about anything but i thought it fair toat least tell people what i took from the conversation. No matter what happens we are going to have to deal with it in time.

Reading comprehension FAIL. Laughing

I know they are pulling them all, found out last week, just don't go stocking up on ebay OOP resale items, because they will still be available from gw.com - That's what my post was saying... Cool
