Round 1
Objectives:
Green: Center of table
Blue: Preplaced along centerline. Do not flip until after deployment
Red: Each player places one red objective marker following standard rules for placing objectives

Deployment:
Dawn of War. Flip the Blue objectives over after both players have finished deploying

Scoring:
Fast Attack choices count as scoring for this mission
Green Objective: 4 battle points
Blue Objectives: Each marker is marked on the back, either 1 or 3 battle points
Red Objectives: 2 battle points each
Kill points: 1 point per opposing fast attack choice unit destroyed or falling back at end of game

Tournament Points:
<-4 -1to-4  0 1-4 >4
Difference between you and your opponent 0TP 3TP 6TP 9TP 12TP

+1 tournament point for each of First Blood, Slay the Warlord, and Linebreaker
+5 tournament points if BOTH players finished turn 5 naturally

Round 2
Objectives:
Green: Center of table
Red and Blue: Each player places one of each color any where on table following normal rules for objective placement

Deployment:
Vanguard Strike

Scoring:
Each objectiver marker: 1 battle point at the END OF EACH TURN
Kill points: 2 battle points for each unit destroyed or falling back at the end of the game

Tournament Points:
     <-4 -1to-4  0 1-4 >4
Difference between you and your opponent 0TP 3TP 6TP 9TP 12TP

+1 tournament point for each of First Blood, Slay the Warlord, and Linebreaker
+5 tournament points if BOTH players finished turn 5 naturally

Round 3
Objectives:
Green: Center of table
Red: Each player places one in own deployment zone following normal rules for objective placement
Blue: Each player places one any where on table following normal rules for objective placement

Deployment:
Dawn of War

Heavy Support choices count as scoring for this mission
Red objective in own deployment zone: 2 battle points
All other markers: 3 battle points
Kill points: 1 battle point per opposing heavy support choice unit destroyed or falling back at end of game

This was a direct cut and paste from the rough draft, so the differentials don't quite line up, sorry.

Not to criticize, but I don't think you mean "Spearhead" as the Deployment for Round 2. (or maybe you do and we're doing some old school deployment?)

Indeed. Edition change. Sorry, for the current edition that should be Vanguard not Spearhead, fixed in the above.

We are also going with an end of turn scoring on objectives for the round three mission.(for now) Also, rounds two and three's missions have been swapped, but not deployments.

Good evening,
I am curious to see if there were any restrictions on army selections when it comes to supplements/codexes. (Forgeworld, stronghold assault, etc.).

And i wasnt able to register online in time for this event, is there any way i can be added and when i get in friday i can pay for it? I will be helping run some jr con events. Thanks.

All supplements are allowed, including Data Slates. Escalation and Stronghold Assault are both expansions and so are not allowed. Forge World rules are also not allowed, but models to represent legal models are allowed.

Registration is open at the event, you can register Friday or Saturday morning. We still have space, but a lot of players register at the Con, so we may fill up. I recommend registering Friday. They can set you up at Con HQ.

In mission 1 are fast attack options scoring units and the same for heavy support options in mission 3?

Hi guys,

Will scoring be the same as last year, particularly in regards to Sportsmanship? My understanding was that last year had a 'rank your games' system, with each player receiving 1, 7, or 20 points for a 3-2-1 placement. Is that correct?

Similar, though the points you have are wrong. Due to a change in battle points, the spread is now 6, 13, 20.
