So, got my first real game of 6th ed in today, and I have to say there are three main lessons I learned today.
  1. Maneuvering is super important.
  2. The Dice gods still reign supreme
  3. Ork bikers (not Nobs) still suck.
  4. Alpha Strikes are still king.
  5. Wazdakka is still way sucky compared to a regular Warboss on a bike.

Otherwise, there are some interesting ideas in the new rules

Some deft maneuvering got my Nobs in each of my mobs caught in a nasty flame template, killing them way early and preventing their claws from hitting CC... It hurt in the ensuing phase

This is good to know. I'm either wanting to play Warhammer 40K and WFB again, or I'm just addicted to buying and painting miniatures, lol.

If anyone is interested in learning WH40K 6th edition, let me know and I will give a lesson and/or loan you an army.

I may take you up on that. When are you available?

PMed you.

Additionally, I might be able to be free to play tonight if that works better for you.
