Well Met! Empty
PostSubject: Well Met!   Well Met! EmptyWed Mar 07, 2012 9:15 am

My name is Keith, aka "Thorhak". I am an avid Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game (LOTR SBG)
player and have been playing the game since it's inception in 2000.

Armies I have/play include Gondor, Fiefdoms, Erebor, Hobbits, Morgul Knights, Goblins, and Uruk Hai.

I am the Administrator of the Adeptus Mile High forum that is dedicated to LOTR SBG.

The first time LOTR SBG was featured at a GT was in 2005 at the Games-Workshop GT in Baltimore, MD.
It was again featured at that same Event in 2006. 2007 welcomed the birth of the first Independent
LOTR SBG GT, which was held at Adepticon in Chicago, IL. Since that timeLOTR SBG Indies have
sprung up all around the country. There are at least 8-10 that were featured in the 2011-2012 Official
Games-Workshop North America Tournament Circuit.

I happen to be the Tournament Organizer for one of these LOTR SBG Indy GTs, namely
Mayhem in the Mountains. This September will mark the third annual MitM. We have a very active
LOTR SBG in Parker, CO. and traditionally have 5-6 players from around the country attend the
Event as well. GW has yet to announce the line-up for the 2012-2013 Tournament Circuit, but I
fully expect Mayhem in the Mountains to be included. For more information regarding Mayhem in the
Mountains visit the Adeptus Mile High website.
So, if you play LOTR SBG, or are interested in learning, come on down to Collectormania in Parker, CO.,
and join the fun! Hope to see you there. Cheers!!!
