| Here is the story, I am still writing down all the rules.
++++The Battle for Oomfar++++ For one hundred years Oomfar has been a Chaos held system. Being of little strategic or resource value, Imperial forces sent to cleanse the world have been paltry at best. These half hearted attempts to wrest control have done little beyond test Oomfar's defenses. This has all changed with the arrival of Hive Fleet Lucifer into the sector. With its location, being both near to, but out of the Hive Fleets path, Oomfar has become a prime staging point for any operations against Fleet Lucifer. With the change in significance, came a change in tactics. Suddenly the Imperium had near unlimited resources to commit to the cleansing. With in weeks, resistance on Oomfar was all but irradicated. Only a few hold outs, such as the capital Primus Oomfar, still held out. Victory was assured. But, it was in defeat that Chaos hatched its most dastardly plan. Using an unknown method, the Chaos forces were able to lure at least part of Hive Fleet Lucifer to Oomfar. Having cleared the last of the resistance from Oomfar, the Imperium must now mount a defense in the ruins of the city they just liberated. Chaos, however, is not out of tricks. Activating a previously assumed defunct fortress on the moon, Luna Oomfar, Chaos forces now rain destruction down on the forces holding their planet. As the Tyranid invasion rushes forward, and Chaos hits any point of resistance from above, can the Imperial forces triumph? ++++++++++++++++++++++++
Noonish work for everyone? I will be there earlier for set up, hopefully around 10. I hope everyone is ready to pick up models, especially the Imperial players. Also, be warned, I don't expect this to be even teams, and if it is, the rules will be really skewed. Please, don't come to win, come to wreck some shop and have fun. Did I mention LOTS of dead models?

| Bring as much as you can. We may have to enlist some Imperial aide, but I already have ideas to include anyone who walks in, and want to. Here are the scenario rules, let me know if there are any questions or changes that need to be made.
Setup: The Battle for Oomfar is setup on 3 tables, 2 joined for the main board, representing the capital. The first table will be an Imperial city, mostly in ruins. The adjoined table will be the same city, but more towards the outskirts. The third represents Luna Oomfar. It contains a fortress and a space port. Deployment: The Imperial Guard player will deploy on the city side of the large table, while the Tyranid player will deploy on the outskirts table. Any Imperial reinforcements may be placed in reserve for either table. Chaos units may be deployed anywhere on the Luna table, or held in reserve for either table. Special rules: Sentinel Fortress: The fortress on the Luna table uses the rules for the Fortress of Redemption. In addition, it allows any unit to fire d3 Str D Ordnance Barrage d3 during that player shooting phase on the Larger table. Luna Space Port: The Oomfar Luna Space Port allows any unit that moves onto it to be placed in the Capital Table's reserve. This happens to any unit that is on the Space Port, as soon as they are placed there. There is no way from the Capital to the Luna board. Objectives: Three objectives are placed in the Imperial side of the Capital board. These are held in the standard rulebook way. Also, the Fortress counts as an objective while it survives for the Chaos side. It is held as long as it is intact, even if the Imperial controls it.

| Har dee har har.
A couple things: Anyone coming into reserve from the Luna Space port gains Deepstrike, and must enter the main table using Deepstrike. Units already capable of Deepstrike may assault the turn they enter play, and those that can already assault from Deepstrike gain Fleet.
Tyranids: Tyranids can fire into assaults that do not include Tyranid models. They also treat every non-Tyranid player as a foe, even those on the same side. This means they are free to shoot and assault any non-Tyranid unit. Powers like the Doom and Shadows in the Warp also affect all non-Tyranid models. Instinctive behaviour targets include all non-Tyranid models. Chaos forces: Treat Tyranid models as allies, excepting they will defend themselves if assaulted. They may not shoot, assault, or otherwise target as a foe any Tyranid model or unit. They cannot fire into assaults. Imperial forces: Standard team rules apply.
